Chesley Plemmons

Chesley Plemmons Was raised on a "working" farm in North Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in theater and history. He toiled in the advertising world of New York City before relocating to Sherman, Ct. in the "foothills of trhe Berkshires." He was theater critic for the Citizen News in New Fairfield for two years become joining the Danbury News Times (Hearst Publications) as that paper's critic. During 19 years in that position, he reviewed Connecticut and regional theater, Broadway, London and Canadian theater festivals. He was an active member of Broadway's Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk as well as the Connecticut Critic's Circle.
