Amy Krivohlavek
Amy Krivohlavek has a BA in English and History from Rice University and an MA in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A Nebraska native, she spent the last five years in New York City, where she combined her daytime job as a product manager and copywriter at Oxford University Press with writing about theater for various publications. She recently moved to San Francisco and will now cover theater in the Bay Area for CurtainUp. She is a member of the American Theater Critics Association and blogs intermittently at amykrivo.blogspot.com.

As an actress, she created the role of Mimi in the premiere of Michael John LaChiusa's Hotel C'est l'Amour, and her other favorite credits include The Last Five Years (Cathy), Floyd Collins (Nellie), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and tick, tick ... BOOM! (Susan).
